I purchased this washer 3/23/2012. I had to call a service repair today 4/23/2014 due to the fact the washer is spitting oil from underneath and grinding. 2 YEARS OLD!!!!!!! The repair man quoted almost $700 to fix the transmission….WHAT????? He stated this is an ongoing issue that Whirlpool is aware of, but do they give a crap??? NOPE!!! I paid the $89 service fee and am tossing this in the dump…2 YEARS OLD!!! I would never consider their products ever again and will be sure no one whom is in ear shot of me..public forums, public streets, local home stores and anyplace fooled into marketing the Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum ….Trash , just like their customer service
