Flipkart – Wrong product sent as image error in website

ORDER ID OD100945000624140000 The product color was black when I ordered. On completing the order I was intimated that white color shorts is being dispatched. had sent an email that I don’t need white color and to dispatch only black color shorts. In reply it was clarified by Mr Krish Srivastava of Customer service Flipkart as under: As there was an image error on the website; we may not able to process black color shorts as requested by you. However, if you wish we can refund the amount Rs.649/- to your Flipkart wallet account. Hence, please get back to us with a confirmation so that we can check and assist you further. You can use your wallet balance, which has unlimited validity, as a prepaid mode of payment for your future orders for the products sold by WS Retail on our website. Later it was intimated by e mail as under would like to inform you that it is not possible to cancel your order for your product ‘Parx Solid Men’s Shorts’ and the refund is also not possible due to its a Big Billion Day offer and your product is approved by the seller ‘WS Retail’ and it is expected to deliver to you by October 17, 2014. The seller is going back on his commitment.I had placed the order on the basis of the color selected during placing order. The firm is resorting to cheating that after realizing payment trying to send another color product. The site has clearly stated replacement is allowed. I am asking for the same product – i.e. shorts of black color which also the firm is denying. The firm has resorted to unfair trade practices which may be taken up.
