I have hired Global Movers and Packers to ship my house hold items from Gurgaon India to Auckland New Zealand. I have three issues to report 1) No response from Global movers and packers for insurance claim of Damaged Items 2) More than 200% increase in Terminal handling charges at Destination. Initial estimate given was 100 to 125 NZD. But Actually I paid 2714 NZD 3) Rs 72000 increase in Shipment cost due to wrong estimates given by agent. The agent had visited my house before giving the estimates.

Total Loses 1) Damages – Rs 171000 2) Shipping Cost Escalation from Initial estimate 208000 to 2,80,000 – 72,000 3) Escalation in Destination Charges Including Terminal Handling Charges Total paid 2714.08 NZD. Actual Estimate given 125 NZD (I have considered prevailing rate of NZD 500. Proof is given). So Net Loss 2714.08 -500 =NZD 2214 which is equivalent to 109370 Indian Rs. Total Losses = Rs. 353270 (Three lakh fifty three thousand two hundred Seventy Indian Rs.)
