goibibo Booking After Sales Customer Service

I have been using goibibo app quite frequently but your after sales service is pathetic. I have been chasing for my ticket refund (full amount) with goibibo call canter from last 16 days. Collectively have spent 10 hours on calls and writing mails on this issue. If you read issue (given below and attachment), you will understand the kind of pathetic services given by goibibo.

Details: Passenger Name: Kartikay Booked Turkish Airline: Tel Aviv to Istanbul (PNR Number RJ8CIU) through Goibibo application. Travel Date was: 27th July 2016 Requested for Cancellation with full refund due to Turkey Coup and Emergency declared by Turkey Govt. Flights still may be flying but I was not ready to travel. Goibibo Request numbers are 3073383, 316676, and 310925 First reply for Goibibo team: “Not possible, because Turkish Airline refused for full refund’. Next level follow up with Turkish Airline, with multiple chases and after declaration of emergency I received the mail (attached in pdf format) from Turkish airline reservation office, asking me to advice to travel agent (goibibo) to do cancellation with full refund.

I did that on 22nd July 2016. Since then till date I am chasing for my money with multiple request numbers but nothing has moved forward. Now new statement coming in was: “Turkish Airline denied for full refund because mail says it’s not full refund it’s something else.” May be my English is weak, but airline mail clearly state for full refund (copy attached). I am yet to get declining mail of airline to goibibo and have not received copy of it. Next update: 31st July 2016 I receive call from goibibo saying airline refused on their own mail and we can’t refund full amount. 2nd Aug 2016 I called in morning and took 15 minutes to explain Harpreet (harpreet.singh1@goibibo.com) entire case once again and as per notes, he confirmed that Turkish airline refused. After that he called me back at 2pm saying they have spoken and airline refused. I wrote mail at around 2.48 pm to every one (including management id, and Turkish airline). Turkish Airline called me at 3.30 pm. (Snehal from Mumbai office of Turkish AIRLINE) She said no one has made request for refund from airline (by travel agency), then how will we make refund. I took Harpreet on con call with Snehal (after 8 minutes of time spent for getting him on con call). Final understanding of mine: My request of refund was not processed by goibibo and since departments are different who handles customer after sales service and refund, there is no co-ordination. Goibibo team simple lied on many occasion including the English they were teaching me. On 22nd of July goibibo and I got mail but no one worked on that mail. I kept asking goibibo to show me mail where airline refused on their own mail, but no results. I have chased airline and goibibo to get my refund but no support from goibibo to me. I get reply that we are big agency and have 1000+ mail

Since Goibibo did not respond to me I wish to file it for Rs. 5 crore (though I don’t need this money, I would like to give back entire money to Prime Minister Relief fund, except Rs. 1 lacs).
