Dear Sir / Madam, This is with reference my Flight Ticket Booking through Goibibo.com. On 29.01.2015, I had booked my return trip from Mumbai to Bangalore (27.04.2015 to Bangalore and return journey on 01.05.2015) for my daughter’s CET exams. Since the exam had been postponed by Karnataka Board due to Trade Union Strike on 30.04.2015 (confirmed date published on 25.04.2015), I had no option but to reschedule my tickets. All my trouble began on 25.04.2015 when I tried to reschedule my flights through Goibibo portal. I couldn’t do so due to error. Immediately I sent Email with print screen shot of page attached to it (tried both without logging and after logging). When I spoke to Mr. Rahul on 26.04.2015 at 3.15 PM on their Toll Free No. 18602585858, I had been asked to pay additional Rs. 15000.00 for my rescheduled flights even after adjusting fare of Rs. 7000.00 (Rs. 11508.00 Less: Rescheduling charges Rs. 45000.00) of original flights. Means for rescheduling, the total cost for me Rs. 22000.00. During my discussions with Ms. Daljeet on 26.04.2015 at 4.30 PM (I had to call again when Rahul did not call back as assured), I had been asked to pay additional Rs. 23000.00 for my rescheduled flights even after adjusting fare of Rs. 7000.00 (Rs. 11508.00 Less: Rescheduling charges Rs. 45000.00) of original flights. Means for rescheduling, the total cost for me Rs. 30000.00. In their website for fresh bookings, the fare was Rs. 19000.00, which was reconfirmed by Mr. Rahul. Do anyone think any sane person will go for rescheduling by payment very high fare??? They are trying to fool passengers by not allowing them to reschedule by themselves online and by charging exorbitant rescheduling fare by their executives. I have all documentary evidences of Emails, and will provide Call records for proving the error from their end. With no option, I have booked my tickets through makemytrip.com. I have demanded for refund full fare of my original tickets Rs. 11508.00 vide my Email dated 26.04.2015 and 27.04.2015 to management@goibibo.com, since the existing ticket is of no use for me and I could not reschedule my ticket as it was non refundable.
