Vodafone – Number Port Out delay disappointing service

Hi, my name is Abhinav. I requested to port out my number from idea to vodafone last week. They (vodafone) said in a week your number will be ported out and sent me a new sim. They said your Number will get switched off for around 2 hours in mid night and your new sim will get activated. Yesterday morning, my idea network went out so I put the new vodafone sim in the phone but the network was not there. I called the customer care using another vodafone number and they said your sim will get activated in 2 hours and then you need to call 117. After 6-7 hours I got the network and I called 117. They said your number will get activated in 2 hours. I did not get the network till 10 pm so I called vodafone again. Now they said your sim is defected so go to vodafone store and get a new sim. I went there today(30th April) and got a new sim. Then they said it will get activated in 2 hours. I waited for 6 hours and then called to customer care again. They said your number can not be ported since you have canceled the request in Idea. What the hell is this? Whay would I cancel my own request? I told him that I got a new sim today then he changed his statement and said oh the issue is because of that only. Go to main vodafone store and get a new sim. What is going on? Customer care is giving me rubbish statements. I am fed up. My number 9911864xxx is off since last 2 days. This is really disappointing and I want to go to consumer court for this. I want to get my number activated and vodafone should apologies me for the inconvenience caused. They have to pay back th eexpenses that I had to bear bemuse if them.
