Dear Sir, I would like to draw your kind attention that I am an account holder in HDFC Bank , (BAJRAKABATI ROAD, CUTTACK, ODISHA) since 2005 which was a salaried account.Due to obvious reason I failed to continue the account. As such I thought that the account is dead. But on dated. 08-04-2015 at about 11:23 /12.00 AM I got SMS for operation of the same account. As such I deposited a sum of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) in my account on the same day at about 03:52:57 PM with a positive attitude to keep this in continuous operation. But surprisingly, at about 09:42:46 AM I got an SMS that a balance of Rs.213.48 is in my account with an advice to further deposit to maintain the minimum balance of the account. Immediately I contacted the branch manager.The Branch manager advised to meet me in the branch. As I was far away from the branch, I expressed my inability to meet him. Accordingly, he advised to give an application in the nearest branch.I submitted the application in the nearest branch(HDFC JHARSUGUDA BRANCH,ODISHA ) which was sent by the BM through scanning. But I failed to get back my deposited money& consequently I wrote mail quite a time.Last time I met the BM of the Branch , But he replied me that you will not get back your money, rather an amount of Rs.1900+is showing negative balance in your account.
