Harassment by HDFC Credit Cards

Dear All, Two Years Ago I never have thought that I would be needing this kind of forum nor Did I Have the slightest Idea that I would be Ashamed to tell everyone that I am also Banking with HDFC. As it was the First card that I had,I have always kept the card my First Priority amongst others.I called them up and Informed them that I am having a huge Financial Breakdown at this point and I won’t be able to catch up on my Bill’s for the next 60-90days.In order to keep up my Word I sent a Cease and Desit Letter to Mr.Ramachandran Narayanan from the concern Dept. stating that I would Definitely Pay the bill within this Time Frame.As there was no return Email nor Phone call from them again,I had no Idea whether my Plea was heard or not,Well,Atleast untill today. This Morning While I was Attending for my JOB Interview,A representative from HDFC called me Asking me to make the Payment right at that moment With a sharp tone-As I was in the middle of Trying to get a Job I Politely asked her to call me back and Did Hang up the Phone after telling her where I was.SHE DOESNT LET ME SPEAK.I have never come across such a a Rude Bank representative ever before in my life and I would never wish for it again.

She called me 14 times in a ROW even after I told her that I had no money I would need time. I Understand that as a customer I had signed papers and Agreed to all their T&C,But I do not remember signing a Document wherein I will be harrased by a lady the moment I had no money. I also Accept the fact that I,As a Debtor has the utmost responsibility and Duty to Clear this dues at the earliest but I can’t make money out of my Kitchen .All I ask for is an Extension of the time Frame from HDFC. Please help me on how to fight this as I dont have tens of thousands Rupees at this point. writing this with high Hopes, Sang, thank you all. N.B(HDFC):I would Appreciate If your bank Representatives understand that I am not in any manner realted to The Gates or The Bachchan’s Famaly,that I am just a normal Person going through hard times.Also,That I respect my Bank and Expect my bank to be abit benovolent to customers rich/poor.
