Hathway Broadband – Amount Refund Not Done

I’m writing to the Hathway Broadband since the 30th of Sep 14 and I am yet to have a complete resolution of my issues. My account number with the company was 1042248. I had noticed ‘no service’ on the 26th of September 2014 and I haven’t got any internet service since that day. On 28th Sep 14, the billings department called me and told me that the payments for the next three months are due and that I need to make the payments. On his insistence I went out of my way to get the payments done after which – I called him to give the transaction details. I have been told via a call on the 29th September 14 that the company will no longer be able to support me to get the services because the cable operator had disconnecting the line. He told me that all the payments would be reimbursed and that the money would get refunded in 45 days time. He also told me that the days where I didn’t get internet access would also get reimbursed. Its been more than six months to that day and I’m yet to see the subscription money. After going to the office and submitting the modem and the wifi-router, (& then further reminding the helpdesk) I did get the deposit for the router but the subscription money which was cajoled out of me hasn’t been returned to me yet. The transaction was Rs 1685.4/- with the transaction ID 7397501. The sms confirmed that the service will be restored within the next 4 hours if deactive

Not only did I have to pay to get installation done at my cost, but also another guy was paid to get the next round of installation done for access to the internet. I feel unnecessarily harassed due to this. Add to the misfortune of dealing with the Co. personnel constantly and persistently has caused me mental trauma – this could have been avoided had this been resolved early and amicably.

I look forward to early closure and hope that the payments (this refers to the internet usage charges that were not consumed) returned at the earliest. DO note that i have been in touch with them constantly for over 6 months now and have managed to, on the first week of April, gotten the wifi router deposit back. I had been promised by them that this subscription payment that is due to me will also be returned without any success.
