I, Mr Abhishek Mehta, had purchased a Hathway Internet Plan on 14 August 2014, My Point of Contact from the Sales team was Mr. Ram- Contact No. 9004906xxx While selling the services to us, he informed us that the Wi-fi will be installed in one day. i.e. Friday 15 August 2014 or latest by Saturday 16 August 2014. The Wi-fi got installed on Monday 18 August 2014. Now while selling the product he had informed us that connectivity will be available for my entire floor, as I have 2 houses on the same floor, he also committed that the engineer will help me install an extension modem (The costs of the modem will have to be borne by me) so that the network range is available throughout When the engineer arrived, he only helped us setting one modem, (the connectivity range of which is less than 100 m) we asked him to set up the extension modem, he bluntly refused, we informed him that the sales guy had committed that the extension will be set up, the engineer replied by stating that “Sales guys often make false promises to lure the customers” he also categorically pointed out that the sales guy (Mr. Ram) had lied to me. To this I tried calling Ram, for the first two days (Till Wednesday) his phone was unavailable, on Thursday, when I finally got through to him, and asked for a clarification, he refused to take responsibility and said that “Now since the sale is made, I do not have any responsibility for this” , he also mentioned that he was supposed to get this extension done by a ‘friend’ of his, but now that ‘friend’ is unavailable as he has gone to his village, he asked me to ‘WAIT’ till his friend is back, after this point his phone was again unavailable Now, after registering several complaints, and not receiving any response to my mails, I tried calling the technical guy, Mr. Pankaj. I want the connection modem to be taken back and money to be refunded for the modem and the services which never got offered
