HDFC Life Click2Protect Plus – Claim Not Settled

I had purchased “HDFC Life Click2Protect Plus” online on 30-Dec-2015 and also submitted required documents time to time. Then they asked me for some medical tests, for which I’ve to bear the cost, which is not mentioned in the policy terms & conditions or in application acknowledgement. So I complained to HDFC first in various stages and afterwards to IRDA complaint portal on 11-Feb-16. But finally HDFC Life has replied the same as before. Then IRDA complaint helpline advised me to lodge complain to Consumer Forum for legal steps against HDFC Life if any.

I’ve paid Rs.3,741/- on 30-Dec-2015 (Three month’s premium) against Proposal no: 18104207 and still waiting for HDFC Life’s decision regarding medical tests to issue my policy even after complaining to IRDA Complaint portal on 11-Feb-2016. I want HDFC Life to arrange medical tests they required, free of cost to me, to issue the policy.
