Hi, I had purchased HDFC Term Insurance Policy in 2013. Being an NRI, I wanted to have my foreign address to be my address of communication. I was not satisfied with the service of HDFC Term Insurance; so I decided to cancel my Policy. I emailed HDFC Life for cancellation of my Term Insurance Policy and refund me the premium for 2014/2015 period. I did not received any response. I also did not receive any response to the complaints that I had filed with HDFC Life. Today HDFC Life informed me that they cannot cancel my Policy and will not be able to refund me the balance of my Premium. I will like to get my Policy canceled. I have email indicating the request sent to cancel the Policy to receive the refund. I will like to receive the refund of my premium on prorated basis and cancel the Policy.
