Heritage Shubham Jodhpur – Review

I booked a travel package for two (me and my wife) to Rajasthan- Udaipur & Jodhpur. The hotel booked for us in Jodhpur was Heritage Shubham which I did not find to be of standard. I had to check out from the hotel @ 09:00 PM on 15th February as there was no arrangements for security. No other guest was staying at the hotel other than two of us. Nobody was available to attend to any guest request. Kitchen was not operational and when enquired with the staff available (only 2) I was advised that since there is no other guest staying with them other than us the kitchen would not be operating and breakfast would be ordered from outside to serve. Also, no facility for dinner/ lunch would be available. No employee was available on the reception area to attend to the guest request. When called thrice and had to visit the reception in person the available staff (only 2) took the request. Since I was travelling with my wife and luggage I could not stay in a property where there is no arrangement of guest safety.

I had to bear an extra cost of Rs. 7,000.00 because of the above problem. When checked with the booking organisation, I was advised that since they had paid the full amount to the hotel and it was a peak season in Rajasthan, they can not provide me with refund on the matter.
