i had a credit card of hdfc bank.i purchased a train ticket for rs 3810/- in june 2008.then i converted that into 6 months emi.i paid 3 emis and then the ticket was cancelled.irctc refunded rs 3503/- to hdfc bank.
hdfc bank continued to bill me the remaining 3 EMIS even though i informed them in october.
no reversal was made for the 3 EMIS that i paid.
when i spoke to the bank,they said first i needed to pay and then we could talk.
i was forced to make part payments.hdfc bank started charging late fines and today my outstanding as per hdfc bank is rs 21206/-.
my actual outstanding though is not more than rs 6000/-.
hdfc bank has put on hold my fixed deposit held at their manton branch.they are now forcing me to pay the entire amount.
