I placed an order with Homeshop18 in the month of Sep 2013. I saw an advertisement on tv which was about a Bowl set of 6 from GLUMEN brand where the offer was (Buy 6 pieces set of Glumen and receive additional 6 pieces for free). BEFORE placing the order, I called up the customer care to know the exact details. On the phone, I was informed that I would receive additional 6 pieces of bowl set free with the order. We placed the order and the Order No. is 93857725 (Sub Order No. 62983319). The total amount was 999.00. But, when I received the package, I saw that there were only 1 set of Glumen Bowls and the remaining 6 pieces of were actually spoons and not bowls as was informed on the phone. We declined to make the payment (COD Order) and take the delivery as it was not as informed to us initially. We called up Homeshop18 immediately. They requested us to make a payment and ask for a refund with the company as the courier had nothing to do with it. So, we made the payment. Within a week, a courier rep came and collected the package and since then, we made multiple calls to HOMESHOP18 for a refund. After numerous calls and after giving all the details, we received a refund check on Nov 16. The name on the check was incorrect. We again called up HS18 and informed about the name error. They promised to send a new check with the correct details. It is more than 4 months now and I have not received my money back. When I spoke with another agent on 10th Jan, he asked me to send back the wrong check to them and then they will send me the correct check. I said I cannot send it back and asked them to pick it up from me as the check was anyway worthless. My phone crashed recently and I do not have the complaint numbers and dates of the complaints. I called up HS18 to get those and they said they wont be able to give me the details of complaints which I made.
I want my money back and also a fair compensation for the stress, cheating which Homeshop18 and delay in refunding my money.
