How Kent Serviceman fooled us ?

I own a Kent Grand Plus online water filter. It’s a good machine but lately all of us are very disturbed by the service we are getting. On the 13th of February 2016 we decided to call Aquamark International (address provided with money receipt), who are authorized Kent service providers. A service person from Aquamark International attended us on 15th February 2016 in the afternoon. Me being not present at the time my mother showed him the Filter. The name of the serviceman is Mr. Ram Krishna. After fidgeting with the Kent filter for some time he says that the UV lamp is broken and we need to replace it. My mother having no knowledge about such electronic matters told Mr. Ram Krishna that she doesn’t want the UV filter. So Mr. Ram Krishna suggests that we should only change the carbon filter it will still purify the water but will taste different. So he supposedly changes the carbon filter when my mother had left the kitchen. Later he says that my mother should pay him Rs. 1750, he would then provide free service for a year. My mother, without thinking twice believed him and paid him Rs. 1750 on good faith. He gave her a cash memo and left fast. Within 2 to 3 days we all started falling ill. My brother’s 3 year old child started suffering from stomach cramps and vomiting. We all started having the same illness one by one. We became very worried. Our doctor advised us to change our water immediately. I came home and checked the water with a TDS tester (which I bought online). What I found out was shocking! The water coming out of the Kent filter was dirtier than my normal tap water! (the TDS meter showed a psi reading of 875) How is this possible? The serviceman from ‘Aquamark International’ had changed the carbon filter. This proves that he had not actually changed the filter at all. I called him again on 29th February 2016. He says on the phone that he will come within 2 days, but he never came. While we are buying mineral water bottles for the baby and us. We are yet to recover from our illness. Kent is a reputed Company. A service provider named ‘Aquamark International’ is ruining it’s name. Servicemen like Mr. Ram Krishna, whose contact Number is 8926528956, is stealing peoples hard earned money and endangering their health. I hope and pray that we get justice for all the grievous problems caused by this Servicing Company. Aquamark International ‘s numbers are 0341-2221116, 9434240275, 9434183663. I want an apology from the service center. Also, I want them to give me a full remuneration of the Kent Grand Plus machine which is an amount of Rs. 18000 respectively. I don’t want to install another Kent product in my home and I’ll use the money to buy another water purifier from a different brand.
