I went to register for a gas cylinder in Coimbatore and HP Gas coerces you to buy an induction stove made by Butterfly for Rs. 2000! You don’t get the gas cylinder that you are entitled to buy without spending an additional Rs. 2000 for an induction stove that you don’t need! So now I’m unable to get the gas cylinder because I won’t buy their tie up with Butterfly eve though their letter states that the consumer is not obligated to buy any products. The agency supervisor was nasty and rude and arrogant as well- told me to go ahead and complain- won’t matter to her. She would not give me her name and was basically sitting there bossing the other women who dared not speak up for fear of her. Is this not a scam that HP Gas is conducting? I have to now go and look for other gas agencies where I can just get a gas cylinder. So many poor people are being duped into buying a specific brand that HP Gas is promoting and I believe this is illegal? Please advise

I want the Gas Agency to reveal their practice before a customer signs up- they did not tell me this practice until after waiting for over an hour that I cannot get the cylinder without paying for the stove.
