Even after supreme court stating that Aadhar card is not mandatory for services, the HP Aundh Gas agency is asking for Aadhar card to receive gas cylinder at subsidized rates. I was out of India and there was no way for me to apply for Aadhar card. Now that I am back, I can not produce card at this time and will be required to pay full price of the cylinder which is more than 2.5times of subsidized rates on which the complete India is getting it at. The cylinder is on my mother’s name: name- Hemlata Soneji Consumder No: 633848

Aadhar card should be removed from mandatory requirement to get cylinder on subsidized rates.
