HSBC Bank – Amount on Hold not responding

It has been two weeks from 12th Jan,2015. HSBC bank put the amount on hold. Daily I make call to HSBC customer care and they tell they will arrange a call back and give the solution iin max 2 days. Nothing has happened till now. Even I am not getting any complaint number so that I can do follow ups. Every time I need to spend hours in explaining the things and customer care people put the call on hold as every time new person get connected and they spend so much time in investigation. I went to the branch and provided a written application as they told to remove hold from transaction. And today (26thJan) after one hour discussion with customer care and forcing so much call transferred to manager and he has given the reason and reason itself is not a good enough reason to put the amount on hold. Explanation given by manager (Mr. Trinath Kumar): – Inward transaction put on hold due to name mismatch. Name given is Aarushi Gupta by the transaction initiated by ICICI bank transaction and name in HSBC bank was Aarushi Gupta only, from past few months updated the name to Aarushi Jamwal as per my marriage status. – HSBC bank has previously approved the transactions from ICICI bank with my old name Aarushi Gupta, means transaction which is currently on hold, previously similay transactions were done by HSBC bank. – Also, they put the amount on hold and not intimated to ICICI bank nor me. Either they should revert the amount to ICICI bank or they should give to me. If they do the same with 100 accounts they have handsome amount for there use.

Bank should revert the hold ASAP – For any name mismatch issue in future they should not put the amount on hold, either transfer or revert to actual bank. – Most important thing, this is my salary account and in my company name is Aarushi Gupta only , then how bank is allowing that inward transaction.
