Purchased Purifier in Sep’13 & worked well till Feb’14 when Germ kill kit(GKK) got expired. Paid Rs.540 and replaced Germ kill kit in Feb’14 & from that day, continuous problems (slow filtering/filtering stops any time) and made continuous calls to HUL and no proper solution. GKK got expired in Apr’14 (2 months) with just 600 liters of usage (10 lit/day) but GKK is designed for 1500 litres. But the service people never examined the device nor GKK kit and after escalations for more than a week, they replaced GKK kit for free. Again in Jun’14, the GKK got exhausted. The HUL person (after 1 week of continuous calls/mails) came and said will replace the GKK again. Then after escalating the issue to higher authorities/legal team of HUL, they said will replace/refund the device cost. Also, the automatic shut off feature is not working in the device (filters the impure water even after GKK is exhausted). I have asked for Cost of purifier + minimum compensation of Rs.5000 to settle the matter out of court since the device proves to be defective and none of HUL menber has checked by device for the past 4 months for actual fault. Only Mr.Navaneetha Krishnan said will come with technician to check (after 4 months of my crying) at my home but he was just negotiating to accept only refund & then went off. After 20 days of mail/phones, the HUL said will not compensate anything for the sufferings of the Customer. This is status as on 23rd July at 2 PM. I have recorded all the conversations which I had with HUL team for my records. I am attaching replacement GKK bill copy.

I am a working person & my wife & child are the members of my family. When I fill water in top chamber & go to office, I see the filtering doesn’t happen till night & in the night(after my return from home), I will search in the roads for mineral water for drinking. Also, for the past 20+ days, I am buying mineral water can (Rs.60/can) once in 2 days. This intentional delay & poor service costed me every time around Rs.1000. Also my profession is highly disturbed by this problem
