IBS – GMAT Exam issue

Dear Sir/ Madam My name is Vahid Biglari. GMAT Registration ID: 259307790 Pearson VUE holds the GMAT exam in south-east Asia. I scheduled my GMAT exam at 10 AM on 3rd December 2013 at Word Ware Distributors SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur. Word Ware Distributors SDN BHD is one of the Pearson VUE’s exam centers. I was present on the test venue at 9.30 AM on the test date. I am also going to present in a conference in France on 20st December 2013. I have submitted my passport to the French embassy on 2nd December for visa application. Therefore, I was not carrying my passport on the test day. I was holding the certified true copy of my passport (certified with the Iranian embassy who is my passport issuer) and visa. In addition, I was holding the following documents: · Receipt that showed I submitted my passport to the French embassy on 2nd December, my ticket, Hotel reservation, Insurance and other travel documents. · My old passport. · My employment card and employment letter · My student card and student letter. I explained to the exam coordinator (Mdm Sok Peng Ten) that I am not holding my passport as I have submitted it to the French embassy and I showed all the other documents mentioned above. Yet they simply turned me away from the exam. I also called 1800880401 (Pearson VUE call center and talked to Steve) and he simply turned me away too. Since it was not possible for me to provide my original passport. I did the best available alternative which was providing certified true copy of my passport and other ID documents and several documents that supported my claim that my passport was submitted to French embassy. I did not do anything wrong and certainly do not deserve to pay the test fee again. Now I am not happy with this as I have paid around $400 for this exam so far. In addition I have studied for several months and I took leave from my job to attend the exam. I need the exam results. I am certainly not satisfied with Pearson VUE service.

My request is to reschedule my exam so that I can do the test. But Pearson VUE officer (Kristen H.)says that I should re-pay the test fee. Rationally it was not possible for me to provide my original passport. I did the best available alternative which was providing certified true copy of my passport and other ID documents and several documents that supported my claim that my passport was submitted to French embassy. I have attached these documents. I did not do anything wrong and certainly do not deserve to pay the test fee again. My request is to reschedule my exam so that I can do the test.
