I’ve opened an FD online for Rs 12000 on 06-Jan-2014 for 10 days with ICICI bank chennai main branch. In my account when I log in I can see the FD account which I opened with the maturity date stated “16-Jan-2014 12.00.00 AM” The Interest for the amount has been credited but the FD amount 12000 has not been credited so far. The bank has promised me that the amount will be credited by 12.00.00 but till now its not. I’m unable to use the amount. When I raise the complaint to the bankl customer care, they told that it will take 24 hours from maturity date to get credited. Which means 17-Jan-2014. I’m getting cheated by the bank. There is no proper response from the customer care too. They disconnected the call abruptly. I condemn and want to claim compensation for the mental harassment that I suffered because of them. Even yesterday night (16-Jan-2014), I called the customer care. She told that the amount will be credited only on 17-Jan-2014. The bankl is completely cheating and I’d want the bank to compensate for this harassment.
