I had made my credit card payment through online click to pay portal from my CITI bank a/c. The due date was 1/8/14 and payment was made on 31/7/2014. ICICI bank received payment on 4/8/2014 and charged me a late fee of Rs 561.80 in the next month. It is not mentioned on the credit card statement to pay the money 2 prior to due date if the payment is made through click to pay site as they have clearly mentioned for cheque payments. No proper information is given through bank about the conditions and as a common person we have the understanding that any fund transfer online will be credited in 24 hours. I have to pay my hard earn money for the companies mistake for giving out the information clearly. Since last so many years bank has been accepting payments 1 day prior to due date from click to pay site and never charged any late fee.

I have to pay a additional amount of Rs 561.80 for no mistake of mine and the customer service team was not all co operative and ready to give the complaint number when asked for it.

I want my money to be returned and bank to send out clear information to customer about such transactions
