Disconnection was requested by me of my Idea Cellular post paid connection in November. Ankur Gupta (@librankur) tweeted at 10:11am – 14 Nov 14: @ideacellular @idea_cares SI -36125338925 Ms Rachna Chauhan 9891962473 confirms number deactivation and No Security Deposit refund (https://twitter.com/librankur/status/533117542920097792?s=17) Reason : I had made repeated requests for address change across platforms (Call Centre (both email and telephonic ), Twitter , Idea Showroom ) , were not entertained. They took signatures on blank form , goofed up my address and landmark on it and did not bother to change it despite several reminders starting day 1. Web support was minimal to non existant Ref No. E1-37965139439 Ref No. E1-38386107250 Their Twitter support was helpful , the only people atleast replying to me and confirming me on several occasion that the number has been permanently disconnected in November. After 60 days of first deactivation request and waiting for refund ,Appealate was contacted The Appealate was contacted in early January and even after 39 days havent done enough even after several reminders. All along they said that they would correct my address and landmark and done nothing towards it except asking me to continue with the phone connection that i stopped using since November 2014. I have maintained from November 2014 that i do not wish to continue with the number and any bill should be debited from my security deposit and refund due to me processed.
Disconnection requested in early November. 14 Nov 2015 The phone has not been used since. On several occasion they have been asked to adjust bill with Security Deposit and process refund both on call and writing to them on twitter . Adjust last bill of November (since when the phone number was not used ) with Security deposit and refund the balance.
