IFB Dishwasher – Leakage Issue Not Resolved by Customer Care

Complaint Nos: 13181275 and 13222896 and continous follow up on 24/7 Service Centre No. 18604255678 Purchased a Dishwasher in April 2014 and have used it less than 45 times. The Detergent tray has been leaking and thus the utensils aren’t washed properly nor are the dried when the cleaning cycle is over. I have complained to the Service center over 5-6 times and have been waiting for the technician to resolve my issues for over 2 months. The detergent, rinse aid and any cleaning material gets over before the stipulated time because of the leakage. The technician from their authorized service center always tries to sell me something or the other when he visits (twice now) without resolving the leakage issue. The Goa center assured me prompt service and change of the leaking part, over three weeks ago but it has not been resolved. Last I called them again on Tuesday August 12, 2014 and they said they will ensure resolution in 24 hours but no one has even bothered to call.

I am filing this complaint for : 1. Returning the product with a full refund. 2. Refund of all additional expenses incurred on additional detergent, rinse aid and salt. 3. Mental harassment to the tune of INR 10k. 4. Legal fees as per actual for the consumer complaint and thereafter for any legal expenses incurred. Heena
