Inferior quality water

The water purifying device is adding sour taste to the water. This water causes stomach pain, upset and vomiting. I reported this problem to pureit customer care over phone around 5 times since 7th May 2010 and posted four email complaints; and requested for service. Till today, the problem has not been attended and rectified. The device was purchased on 29-7-2010 (around 10 months back). The problem arised after changing a Germ kill kit on 27-01-2010. Now, my family is depending on other means for drinking water. I need penalty for the sufferings and taking my valuable time. Since I am unable to use the device for more than a month, the device can not be used in a trustful manner. So, the device should also be replaced. please help.
Pureit device does not provide good quality water as said in their advertisemnts and the company is not providing proper service too. Both way, they are giving wrong information to public.
