Hi Consumer Forum Team, Yesterday(16th Dec) I was trying to book the tickets IRCTC from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad for 17th Dec for Rajkot Secunderabad on Tatkal quota. 10 Am the Tatkal reservation started and I was able to see these many seats are available at 10 AM. SL Class – 239 3A Class – 22 2A Class – 18 Total – 279 I was entering the passenger name and when I reach the payment page at that time at 10:03 AM all the seats were sold and I was able to see “REGRET/CKWL1” for all the class Please let me know how 279 seats were sold in 3 minutes and why we are not able to book the tickets by individual customer. Is there any way we can also book the tickets for our self. Are these special kind of access given to only Agents? Thanks, Mitesh

Tatkal ticket should be available to normal citizens of India instead of Agents are booking all the tickets. There should be solid check to make sure Agents are not booking all the tickets and IRCTC site is being hacked by some one then they should be punished.
