when we book e-tickets from IRCTC website, we pay Rs.10 as service charge to IRCTC and another Rs.10 as service charge to my bank for using net banking(SBI). Currently IRCTC doesn’t allow booking for round trip. Hence for a single planned round trip(eg. going from my workplace to home and then return from home to workplace), I am booking two tickets and connects to bank server two times resulting in paying Rs.40 as service charge alone

If I make ten round trips in year, I am paying Rs. 200 as service charge to bank and another Rs.200 as service charge to bank. There are four lakh e tickets booked online in a single day:-)

We should have option for booking round trip ticket in one form, so that we connect to bank server only once to deduct the ticket costs for both onward and return journey in one transaction.
