Consumer grievances addressalforum/team. I booked tickets for my family to travel to Rajahmundry from Bangalore SBC on train no 17209. 1. Journey date 4may 2014 – 2nd AC – 3 nos – PNR 4507453034 – Charges INR5655, The train timings were advanced by 2hrs than regular earlier time and come to know train left on arrival at station before usual time , TDR -ekt2014054011479751was raised for cancellation online stating Journey not made 2. Journey date 6may 2014 – General quota booking was made, 3AC,3nos, PNR 4262422454, Charges INR4410, all 3 were waitlisted at booking time and when chart was prepared 3 confirmed to RA1,1 / RA1,3 /,RA1,3 . TDR-ekt 2014056011495592 was raised online to cancel RA1,1 stating passenger not traveled due to ticket in RAC after chart preparation. 3. Journey date 6 May 2014 , 3 tickets were booked through TATKAL quota on 5th may14 – 2AC ,3nos ,PNR4362174705, INR 5655, unfortunately only 1 got confirmed while booking and 2 wait listed, status did not change at the time of journey too. Filed -TDR for 2nos wait listed to be cancelled. Journey was made by my Spouse and 2 kids on 1 confirmed 2AC ticket and on 2 RAC tickets of 3AC (RA1, 3 / RA1,3) . The Train TT was informed of the situation, on his suggestion have retained confirmed tickets and journey made, while other tickets were cancelled through online TDR Ref nos ekt2014056011495109. To date Indian railways / IRCTC have not refunded tickets cancelled through TDR, numerous mails and calls have gone in vain, its 6 months plus and thus have decided to approach your help to get this resolved. Please let me know all the details required to help me get this resolved. In addition to the Above, The TT on duty at Bangalore was informed to make a note of the surrendered/cancellation tickets and same was marked in his journey chart. He has not issued any certificate – ‘Part W/L ticket – Non Travel Certificate not obtained’ as is being requested by IRCTC in spite of providing all the PNR, TDR cancellation Reference numbers. Provided screen shot details of all the transactions and communication made to date.
