On 21st of July , i had to book a ticket from Patna to Dehradun in Upasna Express. Total number of Tatkal seats showed to be 13. On a nice high speed internet i logged in at 10:00am and clicked on Book Now option, till that time the seat available was 13. I had not opted for “book tickets only if seat is allotted.” After entering booking details, i made the payment for the same, expecting that even i get something in waiting, either it will be confirmed further or it will get cancelled and i will get back money. The transaction happened and when redirected to the IRCTC website it says no seats available, and status as Regret/WL1. It generally shows when e-ticketing is not available and booking is not possible

I want this not to happen again in future. People have perception that IRCTC is completely controlled by Agents. I want my money back without any deduction, as well as damages for the harassment.
