I need duplicate TDS certificate for income tax purposes from IFCI, New Delhi.Since last 2 years I have heen requwsting them for the same. Year 2005-2006 (Financial Year 2004-2005) I had claimed a deduction of Rs.6081/- being Income Tax deducted at Source on the strength of a TDS certificate issued to me. The original TDS certificate was filed along with my Income Tax Return for the Asst. Year 2005-2006.Now I have been given to understand by the Income Tax Department that the TDS certificate filed by me is not traceable and therefore my claim for Tax Deducted at Source of Rs.6081/- cannot be considered. I therefore request you to please give me a duplicate copy of the said certificate to enable me to get the claim of TDS from the Income Tax Department.
