Jet Airways cancelled a Flight for me and my wife from Patna to Bombay (via Kolkata) which was scheduled for 1 Nov 2014. The reason cited was poor visibility at Patna due to fog. W, however saw other flights departing. The airways staffers refuse to accommodate us on any subsequent flight and hence I had to purchase two tickets on the spot which meant I had to spend Rs 36,600 for no reason.

We want that the airline should compensate me for the additional money that I had to spend on buying an expensive ticket. I had to travel from Muzaffarpur a day earlier to catch that morning flight. It meant taking away several hours that I could have spent with my family. I want to be compensated for this too.
