Reliance Jio Infocomm 4G VoLTE Network services was officially launched for all Indians from Kashmir to Kanyakumari on September-1st, 2016 for FREE until December 31, 2016 which has received phenomenal response from SmartPhone users. Jio is selling around 100,000 SIMs every day and has reached a subscriber base of 5,000,000. Here are some known issues related to Jio 4G Customer Services,

• Activation Delay and Backlog – Since there is Huge Demand, Jio has to activate after following process mandated by TRAI by collecting CAF – Customer Acquisition Form and Identification Details. It is estimated that it may take up to 15 days for Jio SIM Activation due to the  massive backlog of paper based Customer Applications. To get your Jio SIM Activated in 12 Hours, go for eKYC and Aadhar based activation.
• Jio SIM Sold for Price Between Rs 100 to Rs 500 – Some miscreants have been making bad use of the system though Reliance management in good faith is giving away SIM and Service for FREE. It is FREE and Reliance is not charging for the same.
• Activation Delayed for Lyf SmartPhone / Jio Fi MiFi Device Owners Too – They are also in the same Queue and Unfortunately Activation has been delayed for them as well.
• Jio Voice Calls Not Connecting to Airtel, Vodafone, Idea – Due to shortage of Interconnect Points on incumbent Networks, A-Vo-Id Telecom Operators are in Bilateral Negotiations with Jio to sort out the same and it should be sorted out by the end of this month.
• Jio 4G broadband Slow Browsing after 2 GB Consumption – Daily Browsing Limit is 2GB of Data Transfer on 4G LTE network and if you are lucky you will get another 2GB on Jio Public- WiFi Hotspots. After consumption of the above said limit, your Jio Speed will fall down drastically to Airtel 2G level.
