Lenovo – Phone stopped working the screen freezes

(i) Undersigned purchased LENOVO S90A ON 11TH APRIL, 2015 (INVOICE NO. BEL/15/04/010, IMEI NO. 865753020920458) from your authorized showroom Absolute IT solutions Pvt. Ltd., Belapur. (ii) This particular handset had a problem right from the beginning. It did hang a few times during the first seven days of use, but somehow the same could get reset & restarted. (iii)After 10 days of purchase, the phone has stopped working.The screen freezes (displaying a weird logo) at the start, despite charging the phone for approx. 3 hours. (iii) When I dialled Lenovo customer supoprt , the on-line support person did not help in any way. The attendant does not have a clue on the S90A smarphone – he doesn’t know that this model has an inbuilt battery &started offering some weird solutions. (iv) On 22nd April, I visited authorized Service centre (HCL Ltd, at Marol, Andheri, Mumbai). Initially, what was pointed out as a software issue – turned out to be a mazor issue with mother board. The handset was submitted there, as the parts are not available at Service centre. (V) Now I am left with no option – no alternate handset is provided – cannot use sims (as already switched to microsims).

In the best interest of quality as well as long term relations with customer, would request Lenovo to consider the replacement or have my money refunded. There have been many instances, where some of the big companies have fully recalled their products from the customer / market – even after six /12 months of sales.
