Today I purchased a LG Refrigerator (Model No – GL-278PNG4.AWGZEBN) from Mittal Electronics, Uttarpara. On the model, showcased in the showroom they wrote MRP – 29250/- and Discounted Price – 27100/- and they billed me Rs 27000/- after negotiation. When the product was delivered to my house I found that the Original Label on the Box says that the MRP is 27400/- only. When I went to Mittal Electronics again to sort out the confusion, they said, “don’t go by the label, price has been increased by LG from November 2013. I called up LG customer care @18001809999, the executive told me that discounting should be always on the labeled MRP, but they have no control over the amount of discount. Still the Dealer kept on saying that label can say anything, their price list is what we should follow and also confirmed again that they have given me 2250/- discount on “correct MRP”.

I want that Mittal representatives should apologise to me & return me Rs. 1410/- and also they should be heavily penalised in some way so that they can stop doing unethical business. Also LG Electronics should be warned for not taking my complain. They should take more proactive measures to sort out thiss kind of issues in future.
