I had purchased LG Double Door Frost Free Refrigerator Model GL -305VMG5 (Sl No 101NRQV161796) from Electronics Centre Pvt. Ltd, Benachity Durgapur 713213 on 10/02/2012. Within 2 months the refrigerator stopped working and it was diagnosed that there was problem in the refrigerant gas piping system. The gas was discharged and recharged in my household and thereafter several other problems cropped up which was reported to LG customer care. Anyhow by time consuming strategies the warranty period was over and my unit was never rectified fully. Off recently I was in touch with LG, whereby they had proposed me to either get the unit repaired once again or they will provide me a replacement. Presently they are only proposing me to accept the refund of the MRP of the unit.
I should be provided a replacement unit of equivalent specifications without any preconditions.
