Dear sir,

i have sent proper meter reading to mahanagar gas ltd as per their request. (photo of gas meter was
taken and sent to them) Instead of showing that meter reading they have shown less meter reading in their bill.

By doing so, in the next bill, when they take meter reading then this short fall of units will get added
and bill amount goes to higher slab. My gas consumption is far less than 25 units bimonthly. Whereas now as per their bill the consumption has gone beyond 62 units.

So i requested them to check their meter for which they have replied that i have to pay meter checking charges.
I do not understand why i have to pay meter checking charges since meter is installed by them and the meter is more than 2 years old.

Needless to say that i and my wife (sr citizens) only stay in our flat. Our gas consumption is very ltd. When the meter jumps from 20-25 units to 62 units, it is matter of serious concern.

I request your help to solve this matter.
