Makemytrip – Compensation for missed tourist attraction at Dubai plus Fraud of charges

Our Booking ID with MMT – IN1310B1S017373 and INW1310B1S017165 – costing 2,92,000/- each. Below issue are faced during Mauritius and Dubai trip and we are asking compensation to reduce our pain. Mauritius – 1) On the ILX day visit we all starved till 7PM. Guide misguided to have food on the way to Airport and he did not allowed to have food on the ILX island. Our 3 and 8 years kids went cranky since they starved till the dinner was served on flight. How MMT is going to pay for starvation? 2) ILX tour was not guided tour. The driver left us alone on the ILX and we waited for sign and right person to come for at least 1 hour. We missed fun on ILX for at least 1 hour. Also we were asked to report back at 3 to return from island due to which we did not have the lunch at island but the travel was arranged only at 4 due to which we again wasted our 1 hour here. How MMT is going to pay for time wasted? 3) We reached very early and waited for 4 hours on the Mauritius airport. This time would have utilized for food or more attractions. Dubai – 1) Ferrari world – voucher was not provided before start or even tickets were not issued before reaching Ferrari world. We have end up calling too many people and also wasted 2 hours to get our tickets. Due to delay we were tired and could not take all rides. How MMT is going to pay us for rides which we were unable to pay due to time constraint? 2) The recipt provided for Burj Khalifa was not a valid one. It did not contain the PO number or acknowledgment number, in the absence of which they declined to give us the ticjkets. The contact numbers provided were of no use. He took 3 hours to provide us Order number for Burj Khalifa ticket and we called and SMS him 4 times. Before he send us order number we were able to manage to get Order number and our ticket. It was good that we were able to pick up tickets before 8:30 scheduled time otherwise we would have missed Burj Khalifa. So due to this instead of enjoying 2-3 hour time in Dubai mall we invested our 2-3 hours to get Order number and get our ticket printed. 2) Contact Person – a. Contact person was not available when ever required. His mobile was out of network or switched off. 3) Dhow Cruise – We have missed Dhow cruise experiences and dinner. Though Dow cruise was planned on 31st December, the tickets had been arranged for 1st Jan which we came to knew only on 1st. Ferrari was already planned for 1st and hence we missed the Dhow cruise. How MMT is going to pay for ticket and Dinner? We need full refund for Dow Cruise. 4) Imperial Suites Hotel – a. The hotel was a worse experience. The hotel was not at all a 3 star category hotel.. The staff was absolutely not co-operative. The hotel pub music was too loud and going on till 3AM in the morning due to this we were unable to sleep till 3AM for 3 days. Even after complaining on first day it took 3 days to change our room from 3

MMT is ready to pay 33,000 against two booking which is nearly 5% of the total tour costs. But as we missed lots of tourist attraction due to MMT mis-management we can not afford to go back Dubai to experiences the same and loss can not be covered by just 5% so at least 40% of tour costs against both booking which is 2,40,000/- should be refunded as compensation. 1) First 3 days hotel charges for two rooms. 2) Ticket to Ferrari world for 6 adult and 2 child 3) Ticket to Dhow cruise for 6 adult and 2 child 4) Ticket to Jumera mono rail for 6 adult and 2 child 5) Ticket to Dubai day tour for 6 adult and 2 child because we missed Emirates mall 6) 80 Diram of airport drop off 7) our International call charges. 8) Physical – we and our 3 and 8 yrs kid starved for 8 hours. 9) Our local call charges to follow up with MMT for day wise Itinerary. 10) No guided tour which was promised by MMT. 11) No veg. food was available on flight from Mauritius to Dubai.
