I had booked E-Ticket/PNR No.J4VJ5P (Makemytrip Booking ID-NF2204238978157) on 16.11.14 for journey on 21.12.2014 from Mumbai to Kolkata on Spicejet SG-817 for 2 persons costing 13020/-. Spicejet intimated on 11 Dec that flight is cancelled. No alternate booking was arranged either by Makemytrip or Spicejet though requested. So I had to book 2 tickets through other agent on 11 Dec. that cost 14,278/-.

None replied to my E. Mail on same day to arrange other ticket giving 2 hours to respond. None picked up the phone. I was much tensed and harassed. Return ticket was already booked. I was on 11 Dec. hooked to phone and laptop for about 4 hours then arranging another flight. Economic damage was of 14,278/- besides harassment & mental tension compensation atleast 10,000/-
