makemytrip,cancelled my booking and refund me

Dear Sir, I made a booking for 2 nights/ 3 days stay and booked 2 rooms at hotel sarwan, new delhi through website “www.makemytrip.com”. The booking of the rooms were from 22-05-2013 to 24-05-2013 (BOOKING ID ::IN1305B08865) and they charged me Rs.8,400/- through my credit card and then they send me the policy mail. Their booking policy was “Hotel Cancellation Policy Cancellation done within 24 hours will levy 1 night retention and in case of no show no refund. and before 24 hours full refund. An additional make my trip service charge of Rs. 250 will be applicable.If a booking is cancelled or changed by the customer, the hotel will be notified (of the changes) and the original confirmation email and Booking ID that was generated will become null and void” On 21 May’2013, I requested the executives of the company to rectify my hotel bookings and postpone my dates as my meeting is postponed. I got the message from company’s executive that the dates will be postponed with the charges of Rs. 250/- for which I agreed and then I was asked to inform new dates for new bookings. I informed them the tentative dates of my meeting at delhi and my stay at hotel. But Unfortunately, I got a message from company’s side on my mail and my mobile informing me that the cancellation of the hotel booking have been done and Rs. 4124/- have been refunded to me. I was shocked to see this message and I made several calls to the executives of make my trip but have not got any response from them. After which I started escalating my problem to head officers of the company. I defined my problem to higher executives of the company, who replied me in negative and given me the reply that the refund of full amount cannot be made to me as i have cancelled the bookings by my self, while if we see the records of my communication to the company on 21 may’2013 (which can be seen clearly in my account created on www.makemytrip.com),it is clear that i requested for the date change and not for cancellation of my booking. Today, ie on 17/07/2013, i got the reply from the company that they cannot help me further and i cannot get my refund back. I am feeling very helpless and do not know, whom to contact for refund of my hard earned money.

KINDLY HELP ME TO GET MY REMAINING AMOUNT BACK IN MY ACCOUNT OR RESCHEDULE MY BOOKING FOR OTHER DATES.
