Dear Team, This is to bring your kind notice about the highly disappointed service/misbehave faced by me with one of MARUTI authorized dealer. My Cousin Imraan Ali a resident of Distt. Ambala(Haryana) purchased a Maruti Alto 800 LX last month on 30th-NOV-2014. Unfortunately upon receiving the documents, we had found his name as well as the address is incorrect in the documents. When we visited the Dealer for the correction of the name and address, they demand us a sum of 1500 Rs. and affidavit for correction in the documents. Note := Affidavit related to the non-applicability of insurance policy till registration certificate issued and modification made. Question to dealer : How we will use the car with non-applicable insurance? Secondly the mistake have been made by the Dealer in the name and address so why we have to pay 1500 rs as well as affidavit. When we argued for the same, they misbehaved with us and abused us. TO BE MENTION :== THEY NEVER ASKED FOR ANY ID PROOF OR RELATED DOCUMENT AT THE TIME OF PURCHASING AS WELL AS BILLING. HOW CAN A REPUTED ORGANIZATION ISSUE ANY VEHICLE WITHOUT SUCH ID VERIFICATION. MOST IMPORTANTLY we NEVER ASKED FOR ANY ADDRESS BY THE DEALER. We are really very disappointed that this type of things are happening just after 15 days of purchasing a Maruti vehicle, Hoping for a helping hand and action to save my consumer rights.
