I am Neha Garg got suffered from facial palsy on 8/Aug/2013 in morning, went to Medanta the Medicity hospital at gurgaon there i got diagnosed a right side facial Palsy by Dr. Jyoti Sehgal in neurology Department they admitted me immediately for the treatment (Because of this stroke my right eye is not blinking, I Cannot even eat properly from right side). Next day 9/Aug/2013 around 4 PM when my discharge documents were processed from hospital and submitted to TTK for the payment approval but they did finally rejected the payment around 9 PM with no valid reason in-spite of keep submitting all the required documents Like – Disease suffering from, treatment given, discharge summary, invoices etc. However it seems that TTK people were so unprofessional even after doing so many follow-ups with the guy called “Vinod Kumar” on 18001021234 which is their 24 x 7 Toll free number there was no resolution from them, even he said there is no senior person to talk on non working day as that day it was “Eid” he said I can not even transfer the call to someone and i am the only one who can give you the update that our doctors have rejected your case & his behavior was very rude & unprofessional and he kept on disconnecting the phone again & again, these guys did not even checked the documents submitted by hospital carefully and keep on asking same documents again & again. I have a corporate insurance policy under which my medical expenses are covered upto 50,000 thousand. The hospital charges were Rs. 40,266, which I ended up finally paying myself now in that case what is the use of having these kind of insurance policies. It was again a mental harassment from TTK guys which i suffered on that day. When i have the policy its my right to claim the amount they can not just reject it because they do not want to release the payment. I need kind support from consumer court so that they can learn the lesson and do not make fool of other people. I need my money back from their end and strong action should be taken against them.
