MegaCabs – a complete fiasco & unprofessional

MegaCabs confirmed my booking on 10th Jan’14 by sms @ 15.56 vide booking No.KOL0237 for Jan 11 that my cab will come at my residence at 5:15am for Howrah station Drop. When I called them at 5:05am on 11-Jan to check if all were in schedule, they said they would delay by 10-15minutes. When I called them at 5:25am to check on them, they said sorry they have technical problems & they still need “some time” or the cab may not even come. MY DHAULI EXP TRAIN WAS AT 6AM FROM HORAH. They could have told me straight at 5:05am that they shall not be able to send the cab so that I would look out for other options. Finally I missed the train. We are 4 adults & 1 children. All got up in the winter morning at 4am, We bathed, dressed up to board the train. Its a complete fiasco & unprofessional ism of megacabs. They harassed us & put us on major loss. We paid to other cabs for up & down journey to Howrah. We came back home all lost, sad, harassed. My mother is 80yrs old lady & a heart patient. She had to take all this tension & harassment. We lost lot of time. We are again booking tickets in HWH PURI Shatabdi express & paid anther Rs. 3300 for fresh tickets. Dhaouli express tickets money is lost too.
