I had purchase a Micromax a240 phone worth Rs 19K, which now had a problem. my phone was not starting up (powering up), so i had given it for repairs on 23rd of Aug 2014, after which whenever I call Micromax customer care center and service center, I am told a new story. you can find the history below After many call, I finally wrote an email to them: Hello Simran, Job sheet No *S010088-0814-11702611* As discussed, I had given my mobile micromax doodle 2 A240 for repair on 23rd of Aug 2-14 at Mobile seva Maratahally Bangalore. My phone was not starting up (powering up). they asked me to wait, after almost 3 hrs. they told me that they need more time to check it and will be able to update me on 28th Aug. after lot of calls i could finally get in touch with them over phone and got an update that the phone will be repaired and as soon as its ready they will inform me. Later when I called them to know the status they told me that the phone is not repairable and will be replaced, it would take 10days. then i visited mobile seva to talk to them about the data and to expedite the resolution, they told me that my handset has been sent to Gurgaon repair center and will be sent to scrap dept. which will be crushed there and I wont get my data. after some debates on the data recovery on my cost by getting it repaired from outside in open market as micromax is unable to give me data from my faulty phone, Kanakraj (supervisor at mobileseva) asked me to wait …i waited almost 2 hrs. to hear that either i would get new phone or else i get old phone which they will reject so that it can come back to Bangalore, so i had two choses either I get old unrepaired handset or a replaced one.. no option for my data. WHY? Now when I call to know status of my handset replacement, i get the answer that I will get in next 10 days. so every time when i call you people are telling 10 days time. Now you are also telling me 10 days? Is 10days is the standard answer Micromax people have every time?????? Why I was not informed about the data loss when I had given my phone for repair? Why micromax is not able to get my data back from my phone before they send it to scarp dept.? Why they told me that I will either get replacement handset or faulty one which will not be accepted for repairs later? If so why Micromax is not able to give me my data along with replacement handset? WHY so much TIME? Thanks, MK they did not replied, then I sent a follow up email after which they replied in very diplomatic way as below: Dear Mr.Koltey, Please accept our sincere apologies due to delay in services. As per your job sheet number we have escalated it on priority to our escalation department.Your complaint number is MMX1109149526. We will do the needful as soon as possible and provide you the best solutions shortly.Also replacement could not be done from our end. We are really apologetic for what you have experienced.We are making an effort to ensure that such situation will not occur in fut
either my phone or the cost against it. or legal action
