I had purchased a Micromax A290 a few months ago which developed a problem only a month after purchase. I gave my phone to the service centre but no repairs were made and the phone was given back to me as it is. I gave the phone back to the centre and the call centre executives gave me a period of 15-20 days period to wait for the phone, which is understandable. This was however a month ago. I gave a call last week and they told me to wait for 7 days. I called again yesterday and my phone’s status became 15-20 days. I got a call back from a senior official through phone number 01244310xxx but he cut the call midway and I am not able to speak to call this number. He also says 20 working days. This is nothing short of mental harassment.
I am pretty sure that they haven’t been able to repair my phone but are purposely delaying it so that the warranty period expires. If this is the case, I want a new instrument in lieu of the old irreparable one. This is unprofessional behavior from their side.
