Many milk vendors in Ravet near Mumbai-Pune bypass road charge 2 rupees more than MRP per litre for milk. When asked for reason, they say it is refrigeration charge. As milk is an essential commodity, we end up paying that extra cost because we go to these extra charging shops only when it is last nearby option. Recently authorities have started taking action against it in Mumbai. Will it be done in other parts of Maharashtra as well? Can someone stop these thieves in disguise?
