I have purchased a packet of Minute Maid Guava (1 litre) fruit juice from a retail store. Name and address of store is- Radhaswami Kirana Store, Near State Bank of India,100ft road,Amritsar143001,Punjab. Product Details Date of Manufacture- 30 August 2016 12.08 B.no. HBN6H30CB7S11. My family is a regular consumer of this product. My father is fond of it. My complain is that I have received adulterated juice. The packet was fresh and properly sealed. After opening and consuming a glass of 250ml by my father, I began to pour another glass for self consumption. But the juice refused to come out of packet as if something was blocking the mouth of the packet. After inspecting the packet by tearing it to my utter shock I found a horrible corpse of a lizard inside. By the time I started to worry about the health of my father who consumed it. After an hour of consumption he started vomiting. The ill effects of the adulterated juice made him sick. The doctor prescribed medication for food poisoning. Therefore I have decided to file a case against the concerned company in consumer court. Also discontinue the use of the product and encourage others not to use it. I want the company to look into this matter.
