MisBehavior by Bata Shoes Store Manager

Dear sir, I am bought a pair of shoes from your local BATA store [VP TOWER, MALWAL ROAD, OPP LIC OFFICE, FEROZEPUR PUNJAB ] on 16/10/2016 for Rs. 2201, on which there was a coupon of 200. (CST NO: pgst/cst/27702315),(TIN NO:03731005978),( MEMO# 16-10-16/1/0021) Your store manager promised REFUND 200 in cash after 3rd of November and signed the coupon too and ensured that I can get my cash back any time after 3rd of November 2016. So I went to take my cash on 9th or 10th of November and your store manger refused as he WAS SHORT OF CASH due to this recent demonetisation scheme of govt, and told me to come on next Wednesday.

Today approx after a month I went again to take cash 200 and he again firstly refused to pay as he was again short of cash. And when I made him realize the prestige of BATA he started speaking in loud voice, as he was elder to me I remained polite I was talking humbly in a decent language, As he was loud I asked him to calm down and in return he ordered me to talk in hindi first ( AAP MUJHSE HINDI MEIN BAAT KEEJIYE) were the exact words and then very arrogantly he ordered the sales man to give me my money and threw cash in front of me over the counter. As I am a professor at a very prestigious college I remained calm, and he accused me that he has not seen me before as I was telling that i can’t come again and again for Rs 200. I am a teacher of management and I would like to recommend you to maintain decent amount of cash at your stores so that customers like me do not get harassed by your ill mannered employees. And I would also like to request you to arrange a customer relationship program for your employees so that they could learn the importance of customer and how to behave. I am very disappointed with this behaviour. As I had a very decent and loyal brand image of BATA. I am writing this complaint with a hope to get it resolved with an apology. I will not forget to mention this whole incident as case study to all of my students at college, So that they can learn about business ethics and customer relationship. And please for the sake of the name of this huge and prestigious brand hire people with good command over language. Rgards. Nikhil jay ashwani
