Online booking for travel from ahmedabad to madurai for 2 adults/2 kids; booking site failed to book tickets but the payment got deducted from my credit card. in the next try also it happened to fail but payment got deducted; nearly a lakh deducted – the website informed that the amount has been kept in mktrip wallet services – for which my consent was not taken; when asked for refund – they promised in 10 days but kept on increasing the deadline.
my credit card limit got utilised and hence could not use it further for other purchases whatsoever.all my travel plans got damaged. my credit card got blocked. this wallet service is illegal. why does the company not return the amount to the credit card in a day or two ?; enormous mental pressures and upsetting replies by the computer complaints cell; then they send other choices for travel bookings like clearly trip etc which is mkt in disguise – very obvious
