Moto E 1st Gen Model XT1022 – Review

I had purchased a Motorola Device (Moto E 1st Gen Model XT1022) from Flipkart.com Order ID: OD4063 0000852 The device, while still under warranty, automatically restarts on pressing the power button. Upon meeting the service centre at Ahmedabad, they informed me that it was a due to malfunctioning motherboard and it needs to be replaced (Job Sheet No. – AMSAHM000469). The screen was malfunctioning due to the faulty motherboard – It has yellow patches in the top left hand corner of the screen. Upon interacting with the service team there, I was shocked to learn that the screen is not covered in the 1 year warranty. You may refer to the communication in the trail-mail. Now, the service centre has replaced the motherboard, however they have refused to replace the screen. Motorola India and Flipkart.com have both “escalated the case”. However, there has been no resolution. I am seeking your support to get this issue resolved. I expect that the Consumer Coordination Council team gets in touch with Motorola India and Flipkart.com regarding this case and protect the rights of customers.
